Jesse graduated from the University of Washington in 2016 with a B.S. in Physiology and a minor in Nutritional Sciences, and is enrolled in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program at Seattle University. He’s been scrawling poems in notebooks since he was ten, and as a college senior, worked his way up from an editing internship to a job as a lead editor for the Borgen Project. His dad immigrated to America as a cook and infected Jesse with an endearment for the stove and spatula at a young age. His history of church-going encouraged him to think deeply about the intricacies of homo sapiens.
